Ajay B Pradhanang

Ajay B. Pradhanang plays an active role in several business affinity groups like Nepalese Young Entrepreneurs Forum, Entrepreneurs Organization, and Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He is committed to convert his business- Fleur Himalayan Limited, into a world-class venture and help others to emulate his example. He is also a co-founder of Himalayan Climate Initiative.

Anand Bagaria

Anand is the founder of NIMBUS, the largest animal feed manufacturer in Nepal. Besides being actively involved in the agribusiness sector, he is also involved in poly-woven fabric production, chemical processing, grain trading, solvent extraction, and animal health and nutrition.

Anand Tuladhar

Anand Tuladhar has over 30 years of entrepreneurial experience. He has built successful businesses like the Bluestar and the Bluebird group. Currently, he is mentoring and training the new generation of Nepali youths, on the many facets of entrepreneurial and management skills. He is a certified Master Trainer from Wisdom Tree and the Dale Carnegie and has been training corporations on various soft skills and other organizational managerial skills for many years.

Anil Chitrakar

Anil Chitrakar is a social entrepreneur, who has managed venture funds for several environmental groups from all over Nepal. Anil has been recognised as one of the Global Leaders for Tomorrow at the World Economic Forum, Davos and as well as an Ashoka Fellow for his social entrepreneurship. He is the President of SiddharthInc, and the Co-Founder of Himalayan Climate Initiative, a youth-driven Nepali civil society organization.

Bhaskar Dhungana

Bhaskar Dhungana is the Co-owner, founder and a board of director of TeamQuest PVT.Ltd. TeamQuest owns and operates QFX Cinemas, LABIM Mall and DCN Nepal. He is also the founding director of Futureworks Building Solutions, a construction company specializing in providing safe. Energy efficient resident and commercial structures.

Chandan Kayastha

Chandan Kayastha has been in the restaurant business for over two decades. He is the Co-Owner of Roadhouse Hospitality Group, which owns the Roadhouse Caf chain, La Dolce Vita restaurant and Temple Tree Resort and Spa in Pokhara.

Dileep Agrawal

Dileep is a pioneer in Nepal’s IT industry. He founded WorldLink, which is Nepal’s largest Internet service provider (ISP) in 1995. His company now employs over 600 people throughout the country and has moved beyond being an ISP to become one of the largest IT service providers in Nepal. Dileep has co-founded several companies and non-profit organizations, and serves on their boards. He is a graduate of Bates College in the US.

Hem Raj Dhakal

Hem Raj Dhakal is the Founder and Managing Director of IME, one of the fastest growing business groups in Nepal. He currently directs IMEs Global Operations, which is headquartered at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Niranjan Shrestha

Niranjan is a second-generation entrepreneur. He is the Executive Director at Laxmi Group, which is a major player in the confectioneries and dairy sector with firms like Sujal Foods, Jaya Confectioneries, Sujal Dairy, Sujal Plastics and Jaya Packaging. Laxmi Group is also the sole distributor of Hyundai Motors in Nepal. Niranjan is also a Director at Om Finance and is currently the President of Nepalese Young Entrepreneurs’ Forum.

Rabindra Shrestha

Rabindra Shrestha is a Director in N.E. Group. N.E. Group has investments in hospitality, consumer goods, and other financial sectors. He has also served as a Director on the Board of several companies including Unilever Nepal, United Insurance Co., to name a few. He is currently the Managing Partner of PrestellarVentures, a Singapore-based private equity fund focused ontech-enabled companies.

Raj Shah

Raj Shah is the Managing Director of Himalayan Distillery. Himalayan Distillery, is one of the largest player in Nepals liquor market, it is the first distilled beverage company in Nepal to receive the Green Building certification.

Ranjit Acharya

Ranjit is known as the guru of advertising. He is the owner and CEO of Prisma Advertising, a leading marketing firm, providing communication solutions to a plethora of national and international brands. Ranjit is also the Chairperson at Bridgewater Education and Research Foundation, the Managing Director of Neel Barahi Films Pvt. Ltd., and a Director at Media Hub Pvt. Ltd. Apart from being a businessman, he has also shown his flair as a director, a lyricist, and a motivational speaker.

Samir Thapa

Samir Thapa has been working in the Hospitality Industry for the last 15 years, and is considered to be the first certified hospitality educator of Nepal. He has international academic and professional experience. Samir is the Founding Partner & Director of American Hospitality Academy of USA, which has Hotel Management Schools in USA, Nepal, South Africa, Philippines, Turkey, India and Bhutan. He was also a visiting faculty at Stenden University in Netherlands, City of London College in United Kingdom and Asian Centre for Professional Education in Singapore. He presently serves as an Executive Chairman of Silver Mountain Group.

Sanjay Golchha

Sanjay Golchha is the Director of Golchha Organization as well as the Founder and Managing Director of Neoteric Nepal. He is involved in a wide range of IT companies – from start-ups to leading companies in the country spanning diverse areas from ERP to ride-sharing service “Tootle”. He is also a Founder Member and Past President of Entrepreneurs Organization Nepal.

Sanjay Shah

Sanjib Rajbhandari

Sanjib has been involved with the IT industry from the mid-1980’s and has been instrumental in introducing IT and Internet to Nepal. Under the Mercantile Group of Companies, he has pioneered many ventures in Nepal, several of which are the most established IT and communications companies in the country today. Incessant Rain, a company he founded, is now providing world-class animation services for some of the world’s largest media and entertainment companies. He is also involved in the development financial technology, hydro energy, and online media along with influential local and foreign partners.

Suhrid Jyoti

Suhrid Jyoti has worn many hats in his career. He worked with John Hancock in Boston before returning to Nepal. Currently he is the Managing Director of Jyoti Group and the Vice-Chairman of STC.

Suman Joshi

Suman Joshi has invested in and scaled multiple Nepalese SMEs, and has an extensive track record managing business and leading teams in Nepal. Suman has also been credited with Nepal’s first mobile banking platform and other innovative financial products and transactions. After a successful banking career that has spanned over two decades, he founded private equity firm True North Associates. Suman is a Partner and Managing Director at One to Watch Nepal.

Udeep Shrestha

Udeep Shrestha is an Executive Director of Panchakanya Group, one of the largest construction material manufacturers in the country. He has played a key role in the introduction of light gauge steel framing technology in Nepal. He is also actively involved in trading, primarily in automobiles and heavy equipments, and is an executive committee member of Nepal Young Entrepreneurs forum.

Varun Lohia

Varun is the Executive Director of Lohia Group of Companies. The group has been involved in various manufacturing and trading activities for over a century. At the moment, Lohia Group manufactures and imports a wide range of FMCGs through their companies: Aarti Soap & Chemical Ind. Pvt. Ltd., Aarti Vegetable Products Pvt. Ltd., and LG International Trading Co. Pvt. Ltd. Varun completed his schooling from Welham Boy’s School, India and his graduation from Hansraj College, New Delhi. Vishnu Agrawal

Vishnu Agrawal is the Promoter and Managing Director of MAW (Morang Auto Works) Enterprise. MAW Enterprise is the official distributor of Yamaha, Skoda, JCB, Yamaha music and Yamaha engineering products. He is also the Vice-President of Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI). He leads the infrastructure unit in CNI, where he is focusing in increasing the infrastructure development on Nepal.

Bart Veldman

Bart Veldman is the Executive Director of Coloured Finches, an energy company that operates and invests in businesses in the downstream hydrocarbon markets. He has also been involved in the setup and growth of several investment funds, and he also acts as an informal investor in a couple later stage ventures. He is currently focused on financial strategy, business development and structuring in growing small and mid-sized innovative and creative companies.

John Raabo Nielsen

John Raabo is working full-time with impact investment in capacities as impact investment fund partner, investment committee member (One to Watch), direct investments, board representation, consultancy, start-up co-founding and mentorship. He has been a mentor for entrepreneurs at Enterprise Futures Network on programs a.o. at Rice, Berkley, Stanford and African Entrepreneurship Award during the last 4-5 years.

Mark Mathijssen

Mark Mathijessn is the CEO and owner of MHB. MHB develops and produces windows and doors for the high-end market in Europe and the USA. He is currently focused on creating an innovative company, and expanding the sales of his company MHB, in foreign markets.

Michiel van Putten

Michiel van Putten is a civil engineer who became a healthcare entrepreneur because the social impact a Healthcare entrepreneur can make is countless times bigger. Three years ago he founded wonen bij September a company that provides the best environment for people suffering from Alzheimer’s. And currently he is scaling up his company.

Peter Drury

Peter Drury is a specialist in healthinformation and development. Peter has more than two decades of experience working at all levels of UK National Health Services and nearly a decade of working in the private health services sector, in both developing and developed countries. He has worked with development partners like UNICEF, WHO etc. in South East Asia (including Nepal) and Africa. He is currently trialling an innovative use of mobile phones to assess the learning behaviours of nurses at the point of care in the UK. In South East Asia he is supporting the Asian Development Bank in Innovation and Knowledge Management regarding digital health.

Peter van der Fluit

Peter van der Fluit is currently a part time lecturer at University of Amsterdam School of Business and Entrepreneurship, where he teaches Start-up Methodology and other relevant aspects of innovation and entrepreneurship. He has developed an entrepreneurship course for the universitys masters program. He is also a full time consultant with the Chasm Group, where he covers the European markets.

Raj Burman

Raj Burman has over two decades of experience in international commercial growth across the private, public and third/charity sectors. He has successfully established and invested in several disruptive start-up ventures. Raj is currently working for the European Institute of Innovation & Technology, where he is the UK lead for business acceleration he is responsible for supporting early growth digital scale up ventures for access-to-market, international soft-landing and access-to-finance, strengthening innovation capacity via entrepreneur experiential education and providing business advisory to renowned organisations across Industry, Universities and Research in UK/EU on strategic collaborative innovation initiatives.

Robert van Dortmond

Robert van Dortmond is currently focused in Enterprise, Startup Clear Flight Solution and teaching. He currently teaches entrepreneurship at the University of Amsterdam. Since 2009 he is actively involved the Dutch Startup community, and he is an active shareholder in and mentor for a number of startups

Stefan van Eijk

Stefan van Eijk has been an investment manager atifundfor 2 years. Ifund is USD$ 200 million capita fund that aims to speed up the sustainability transition by providing seed capital (50-500K USD) and guidance to entrepreneurs with a scalable business case in our focus areas water, energy, food and resources. He specializes in start-ups and scale up financing and product development. Stefan has started his own company 3ax, in The Netherlands, and has guided the company though many stages of a start-up- two financing rounds, product development process, licensing the rights to an established brand.

Abhaya Poudel

Abhaya is the Founder of Biz Serve, a company providing consulting services to businesses in the area of Foreign Direct Investment Facilitation, Business and Tax Advisory, Financial Management, Back office Accounting and IT Security. A Chartered Accountant and Information System Auditor (IAS) by profession, he has over 9 years of experience in undertaking audits and assurance, business advisory and consultancy services. He holds the experience of working as the Head of Accounts and Banking Operations Department for Nepal SBI Bank Limited and has also worked in CSC Co. Chartered Accountants, a cooperative firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC).

Ajay Shrestha

Ajay is the Chairman and Managing Director of iCapital, which is an investment and holding company that invests in the Nepalese stock market and Small and Medium Size Enterprises (SMEs). It has the vision to become a pioneer investment and holding company with profitable investments in all sectors of the economy. Ajay completed his BBA and Masters in Management with a specialization in finance from Kathmandu University. Amongst his other initiatives, he serves as a Director at Kaffeine Foods Pvt. Ltd., which runs a chain of coffee shops around Kathmandu, and as a Director at Source Code Pvt. Ltd., which is an IT company focused in developing products for the financial sector.

Amod Niroula

Amod Niroula is currently the CEO at ACT360, and is involved with company’s strategic direction and product development. He has over 8 years of experience in digital marketing technology, social media management and digital platforms.

Amod Rajbhandari

After his undergraduate studies at Tufts University in the US, Amod started his career at Bloomberg News in New York. He then came back to Nepal in 2009 and joined Ace Development Bank as a Credit Analyst. In 2012 Amod obtained his MBA at the Said Business School at the University of Oxford. Amod then joined InfraCo Asia in Singapore to work on infrastructure projects in emerging countries in South and South-East Asia. Currently, Amod is the Chief Investment Officer of the Mercantile Group of Companies. He oversees the Group’s investments in ICT, financial services, energy, and home improvements sectors. Anup Upreti

Anup Uprety has more than 12 years of experience in commercial law. He regularly advises clients on diverse transactional matters ranging from foreign investment, project finance to private equity. Anup has also been involved in legal reform projects covering banking and finance, corporate, insolvency and hydropower laws. He was ranked as one the leading individual in the practice of general business law, by the Chambers Asia Pacific in 2015. Anup specializes in financial laws, foreign investment, private equity and capital markets.

Arpan Khanal

Arpan is the Investment Manager at True North Associates (TNA). He completed his Bachelors in Business Administration from Kathmandu University and has also completed all three levels of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exams from India. He has experience of working in JP Morgan, Centralized Research Group, Mumbai, in the Diversified Industrials and Transportation team, and is also the founder of two quick service restaurants, Royal Rolls and Roasted Beans Coffee.

Arun Kunwar

Dr. Arun Kunwar, is the only practising Child and Adolescent (C&A) Psychiatrist of Nepal. After moving back to Nepal in 2009 and he has focused on the development of C&A Psychiatry (CAP) in Nepal. He has established the first full-time CAP clinic at Kanti Childrens Hospital. Along with his work for the betterment of children of Nepal, he is also a successful entrepreneur who has established a successful hospital in a short time. He focuses on medical and technology business development, especially where they interface. His special interest is helping people understand how their personality affects their business.

Ashesh Rajbahak

Ashesh is the Proprietor of Ashesh & Company, which is a financial consultancy, advisory, and auditing firm. He has a degree in Chartered Accountancy from the highly renowned Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. His extensive track record involves catering financial advisory services to large corporates like Ncell Pvt. Ltd. and Kantipur Television Networks and due diligence services to Raymond Steels in India, Grande International Hospital, and STM Telecom Sanchar. Besides that, he has also overseen audits of multinational firms such as Pepsi Co. India, Siemens India, Elbe Airlines, and DHL to name a few. Ashesh is delighted to be a part of Enterprise as an instructor and is looking forward to sharing his expertise in finance with up-and-coming entrepreneurs.

Bibhusan Bista

Bibhusan Bista is the CEO and co-founder of YoungInnovations, one of the leading IT company in Nepal with a global clientele. Bibhusan is also an active member of International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI) Technical Advisory Group and has been part of other similar initiatives at the international level. He has been actively involved in facilitating tech entrepreneurship development in Nepal with initiatives like MobileNepal, NCell App Camp, and NASA Space App Challenge to name a few.

Bishal Dhakal

Bishal is the founder of Health at Home Pvt. Ltd., Nepal’s first home-based health care service organization specializing in out of hospital healthcare management for individuals. In 2012, he was one of the recipients of Surya Nepal Asha Social Entrepreneurship Award, which recognizes Nepalese social entrepreneurs who create value for the People, Planet and Profit. Bishal is an avid entrepreneur with few other start-ups and regularly mentors in Nepali start-up ecosystem. He is also active in grassroots enterprise activism and sees great future in entrepreneurship and business practice. Bishal is a member of NYEF and also has a charity organization called health at home foundation which is very active in health charity and relief works. He got his medical degree from King Edward Medical University in Lahore, Pakistan. Bishal is also the CEO of Professional Health Support Systems Private Limited and a Founder of Doctors for Disaster.

Dip Prakash Panday

Mr. Pandey is a veteran in the Insurance Sector in Nepal with more than two decades of experience. He currently serves as the CEO of Shikhar Insurance. Before joining Shikhar Insurance he had served as the General Manager at Everest Insurance for around ten years. He has attended numerous workshops and seminars on Insurance and also gives lectures on such events from time to time. He is also a board member of Kriti Capital and St. Xaviers college.

Euden Koirala

Currently working in the capacity as Head of Operations and Service Excellence at Laxmi Bank, Euden brings with her over 20 years of knowledge and experience in banking having had a decade-long stint each at Standard Chartered Bank Nepal and Laxmi Bank. Euden is a Certified Trainer and NLP Practitioner with additional Diploma in Marketing of Services from Maastricht, Netherlands and Quality Control Management from Yokohama, Japan. She has been involved with several training institutes in the country developing and facilitating sessions on soft skills for various service providers across the country. She has vast training delivery and facilitation experience as well as profound knowledge of Customer Service procedures. Her training continues to equip participants to help develop strong communication, organizational, motivational and time management skills. She has established numerous sound customized training programs from scratch while simultaneously improving training processes and procedures country wide.

Juna Mathema

Juna Mathema is the Co- Founder and Managing Director of Blitz Media, a leading advertising and research agency in Nepal. Juna has overseen more than 200 research projects covering issues of health, education, water and politics. She is a member of National Governing Council of Nepalese Young Entrepreneur Forum (NYEF) and was selected as a mentee by Vital Voices Global Partnership and Bank of America, USA to participate in the Global Ambassador Program in May 2017.

Mahesh Mahato

Mahesh is a committed entrepreneur. He has been promoting sustainable entrepreneurship in Nepal for the last 16 years. An electrical engineer by profession, he also holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration. He is engaged in various business activities in power sector, hospitality, consulting etc. He is the owner at Cosmic Electrical Engineering Associates Pvt. Ltd., Managing Director of NepaBeanz Holding Pvt. Ltd. and Cosmic Consulting as well as the President- Cosmic Alliance Pvt. Ltd. He firmly believes that effective project management is the key for development of any country.

Mahima Shrestha

Mahima Shrestha has a broad range of experience in the field of marketing and communications including PR for multinational companies and multilateral agencies, government agencies and programs as well as private sector organizations. She handles media relations, communications strategy, and risk communications training for clients in various sectors. Mahima works with entrepreneurs for image management, organizational capacity building, and business development.

Manish Jha

Manish is the General Manager of FACTS Research & Analytics. He is also involved in Samriddhi- The Prosperity Foundation, as the Director of Coalitions and Relations and in LEAD International as the Director of Marketing and Relations. He is also the Co Founder of Hridaya Group and nepalifootball.com. His academic experience lies in Marketing, Advertising, Service Marketing and Political Science, and also carries multiple experiences of working with international companies such as JWT Worldwide and MoneyPlay LLC. He is also a columnist for Himal Khabar Patrika and Nepali Times, and also runs a weekly TV show on Avenues Television.

Nishant, has been in the Mall Management business for more than a decade. His company Avid Investment and Services currently controls 90% of the Mall management business in Nepal. Besides Mall management, he is now involved in establishing many Indian and multinational brands in Nepal and India. Nishant is also the Director of Aviva Creation Pvt. Pavitra Gautam

Pavitra Gautam is the CEO of Karkhana, an education company with a unique approach to learning. He has served as a member of the US Embassy Youth Council and is actively involved in the entrepreneurship and youth empowerment sector from the perspective of technology and mainstream education having organized multiple events like the Annual Art Science and Tech Festival and Entrepreneurs Boot Camp. He is also the Co-Founder of Robotics Association of Nepal.

Pranisha Shrestha

Pranisha is the Head of SME at NMB Bank. She started her banking career in 2008 from Standard Chartered Bank Limited soon after her graduation from Kathmandu University. She possesses comprehensive knowledge and experience in the banking sector, having worked in the Merchant as well as Retail Assets and Liability departments. She’s also held positions as the Corporate Relationship Manager – SME and Branch Manager for NMB Bank.

Samit Raj Shilakar

Samit has over eight years of experience in the banking sector. He has sound knowledge and experience on Trade Operations, Credit Relationship, and Credit Risk. Currently, he is a Senior Credit Risk Analyst with one of the leading commercial bank in Nepal. He is also the Managing Director of Newakar Enterprise Pvt. Ltd. and looks after the company’s strategy, finance, marketing, and relationship building. Samit has a Masters in Management from Kathmandu University.

Sanam Chitrakar

A Serial Entrepreneur, Consultant and a Trainer/Coach, Mr. Chitrakar founded N-Agro Private Limited, a commercial agriculture company and Aadhar Bikas Consultant which later teamed with Biruwa Ventures to form the consulting wing, Biruwa Advisors where he is a Partner. He is currently working as as Founding Member and Consultant at NLP Nepal Catalyst for Transformation Pvt Ltd. He has organized and facilitated numerous training and workshops in his 15 years career. Mr. Chitrakar brings in more than seventeen years of experience in concept development, training, coaching, proposal writing and consulting.

Sixit Bhatta

Sixit Bhatta is an entrepreneur, co-founder/ CEO at Tootle, the ridesharing app from Nepal. His experiences range from project management, operations and business development to marketing and product definition. He has worked in Nepal Investment Banks, Mobile Financial Services subsidiary to promote financial inclusion through the use of mobile technologies. He is also an adjunct Faculty at Ace Institute of Managements MBA Program for Marketing Management.

Vidhan Rana

Vidhan finished his Bachelors in Business Management and Economics in 2008 from Hope College in Michigan, USA. He then worked at Whittaker Associates, Inc., which is a market research firm, to develop a partnership with several state and local economic development agencies to provide guidance and support to SMEs on issues of employment generation. He then subsequently established a research division for Whittaker Associates in Nepal in October 2010. In July 2011, Vidhan founded Biruwa Ventures to support aspiring entrepreneurs fulfill their dreams of starting their own ventures. At Biruwa, Vidhan is responsible of setting the vision and direction for the company. He also leads the company’s serviced office space division. Through Biruwa, Vidhan has mentored over 200 entrepreneurs and invested in four startups.

Sohan Babu Khatri

Sohan Babu Khatri is currently engaged in consulting projects related to business planning, strategic audit, HR and Admin Due-diligence, Organizational procedures formulation, HR revamping .He is also in part an academician and hence is teaching subjects like Entrepreneurship, Strategic Management, Strategic Marketing at MBA level. He is the founder and CEO of Three H Management, a professional service organization.

Vishnu Agrawal

Vishnu Agrawal is the Promoter and Managing Director of MAW (Morang Auto Works) Enterprise. MAW Enterprise is the official distributor of Yamaha, Skoda, JCB, Yamaha music and Yamaha engineering products. He is also the Vice-President of Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI). He leads the infrastructure unit in CNI, where he is focusing in increasing the infrastructure development on Nepal.

Zaffar Naik

Zaffar Naik is an alumnus of IBM, Wipro Technologies and Accenture spanning 12+ years of work experience as a Principal Consultant & Solution Architect in India and Australia. He now heads First Avocado a management consulting boutique in Kathmandu that specializes in Service Design and People Enablement. Zaffar brings with him a rich experience from multiple transformation projects involving Fortune 500 companies across consulting and advisory programs. He is also a part time educator and Corporate Trainer.
